LGBTQA Resources
Resources for Families, Friends, and Allies of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transgender People
Maybe it's the internet age that has enabled such a large number of LGBT resources. Whatever has enabled it, it's great for all of us who are looking for help on a wide range of topics. We list only a small number of those resources here.
We begin by providing you a link to a publication by the National CASA Association Resource Library on LGBT relevant issues. The National Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Association supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children so that they can thrive in safe, permanent homes. Organizations listed include advocacy and legal, children, youth and family, group homes, emergency housing and shelters, medical and health, education , faith-based, minority and non-English speaking and the list goes on.
