Safe Schools Coalition Located in Seattle, WA, this organization’s mission is to be an international public-private partnership in support of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender youth is to help schools – at home and all over the world – become safe places where every family can belong, where every educator can teach, and where every child can learn, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation. They’ve got classroom resources for teachers, lots of youth resources like hotlines, activism, scholarships, homelessness, trans youth and so much more plus law and policy topics like federal legislation and Washington state. Oh yea, did we mention the recursos en Español? Vista Youth Center This is a LGBTQA youth drop in center located in the Tri-Cities are of Washington state. Lambert House Located in Seattle, WA, Lambert House is a center for LGBTQ youth and their allies that encourages empowerment through the development of leadership, social and life skills. Stonewall Youth Located in Olympia, WA, Stonewall youth is also a center for LGBTQ youth and allied group. Stonewall Youth was founded in 1991 and today provides a wide spectrum of services, including Say hello to Dalya for us when you go!
Oasis Youth Center In Tacoma, WA, Oasis is a drop-in center for LGBTQ youth ages 14-24. If you're in town, check them out and hang out with them and meet peers and great volunteers and staff.
