Hello there!

My name is Rose Wardian, I am the chair of Spokane PFLAG.*

What is PFLAG you ask? Let me tell you what our chapter is about for me. PFLAG is an organization based on relationships. We cultivate relationships at monthly SUPPORT meetings. We build relationships through EDUCATION at outreach events. We establish relationships as ADVOCATES for the LGBTQ community.

By meeting people where they are in their journey, we can envision a world where diversity is celebrated! It is through these relationships that we build respect. From respect comes understanding. With understanding comes love. We strive for a world where ALL people are respected and valued inclusive of their sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. With respect, dignity and equality for all, we can reach our full potential.

Spokane PFLAG can be reached on their WEBSITE, FACEBOOK page, calling (509) 593-0191,

or by messaging Chair@SpokanePFLAG.org . If you have any questions, would like more information, or simply need someone to listen, we are here to help! Please feel free to contact us.

PFLAG is national! To find a chapter near you, visit https://www.pflag.org/find-a-chapter

Rose was named Ally Grand Marshall of Spokane's 26th Annual Pride Parade for her dedication to Spokane's LGBTQ community and their parents, friends, and families.
