It's DANCE SEASON here at Odyssey Youth Movement as youth organizers prepare for an annual favorite and launch a new event open to the full Spokane community.
The new addition this year has been dubbed the Broadway Ball. Odyssey's young adult participants formed their own planning group that has been working diligently to bring this community queer prom to life.
The Broadway Ball is designed as a safe and affirming space for all members of the community (18 years and older) to gather, dance, have fun, and build community. Each guest will be able to enjoy the photo booth, live DJ, appetizers, anything you would expect from a Prom. Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased at the door or online HERE
Broadway Ball organizer and Odyssey Young Adult Participant Colten describes this event "As a chance for folks to redo their own Prom, but this time dancing with the people they want to
and wearing the outfit that expresses who they truly are."

Open to all youth 13-18
The annual youth queer prom has been a staple for 13-18 year olds here in the Spokane community since its inception six years ago. This year's theme of circus will bring guests under the big top for a night with their peers they won't want to miss. Tickets are $10 each. Thanks to our sponsors, including the Community Building Foundation, all proceeds from both of these events go to support Odyssey Youth Movement's drop-in programs for LGBTQ+ young people ages 13-24.
