Odyssey's Youth Programs Go Digital

Dear Odyssey Community,

Odyssey Youth Movement is keeping a close eye on the developments and recommendations from our regional officials as we all work to keep our community safe. With that in mind, Odyssey Youth Movement has decided to follow the direction of our local schools, keeping our building closed until at least April 24th 2020, while continuing to evaluate additional details as we move forward. We are taking the lead of our public institutions such as schools and libraries, as we all strive to combat this while serving the community.

While the physical drop-in center is closed, Odyssey has already begun to roll out Digital Drop-In programs for LGBTQ+ youth ages 13-18 and young adults ages 18-24. These spaces are open to anyone within the age range, including those new to Odyssey, as a chance to connect with fellow LGBTQ+ youth, hear about resources, and participate in online programs facilitated by Odyssey Youth Movement staff and volunteers. We recognize the impact isolation and social distancing can play in a person's life, especially for LGBTQ+ young folks, and Odyssey is committed to fostering and facilitating community for LGBTQ+ youth throughout the Inland Northwest.

These are tough and uncertain times, and as a community we can rally to meet the needs of our young folks, our neighbors, and our families. Thank you all for being a part of Odyssey Youth Movement.

then they can join all of the digital programs!
